The problem

Your Website Is Costing You Business

Most solopreneurs build a site once, then let it sit. Here's what that actually looks like.

🕸

Outdated and ignored

Your site still has last year's pricing, stale case studies, and a CTA you don't even offer anymore.

📉

No consistent momentum

You know you should update it. You just never get around to it. Weeks turn into months.

🚫

No one holding you to it

Without accountability, website work always gets bumped by "more urgent" things. It never makes the list.

💸

Missed conversions

Every week your site isn't optimized is a week you're sending warm leads to a page that doesn't close.

🔍

Invisible to search

Search engines reward fresh, updated content. A static site is a silent site — and silent sites don't rank.

😬

First impressions tank trust

When a prospect lands on your site and sees outdated work or broken elements, you've already lost them.

Why it matters

Why Updating Your Website Actually Moves the Needle

It's not busywork. Consistent website updates have measurable, documented effects on search visibility, visitor trust, and conversion rates.

434%

More indexed pages

Companies that blog regularly have 434% more pages indexed by Google than those that don't — giving search engines far more reasons to surface your site.

75%

Judge credibility by design

75% of people admit to judging a business's credibility based on its website design and freshness. An outdated site signals an outdated business.

67%

More leads from active blogs

B2B businesses that maintain an active blog generate 67% more leads per month than those that don't. Consistent content is a direct pipeline driver.

QDF

Google rewards fresh content

Google's "Query Deserves Freshness" systems actively surface recently updated pages for relevant searches. Stale pages lose ground over time.

WAC doesn't promise rankings or leads. It provides the structure, accountability, and community to help you show up consistently — so these results have a chance to happen.

Nate Templeton
Your guide

Nate Templeton Has Been Here.

As a solopreneur and full-time videographer of 8 years, Nate knows what it's like to build a business where the work always comes first and the website always comes last, but he was also looking for a way to combine accountability for himself along with the support of his Facebook community.

So he built SMAC — the Social Media Accountability Challenge — to fix the same problem for content consistency. WAC applies the same proven structure to your website.

  • Creator of SMAC, the sister challenge for social media consistency
  • Active solopreneur who practices what he teaches
  • Community-first, no-fluff accountability model
The plan

Simple. Structured. Proven.

Three steps. Ninety days. A website that actually works for your business.

01

Join the Challenge

Sign up for the 30-day free trial in April 2026. Get a feel for the structure, build the habit, and see what consistent website updates can do for your business.

02

Make Your Edits, Post Your Proof

Every week, update something on your site — copy, images, a blog post, a testimonial. Take a screenshot and submit it as proof. Simple.

03

Hit Every Week, Earn All-Star Status

Members who meet every weekly minimum earn WAC All-Star status and a cash prize. Finish the round — even without hitting every requirement — and you're entered into a separate random cash drawing too.

Month Weekly Minimum What That Looks Like
Month 1 1 edit / week One small update. Build the habit.
Month 2 2 edits / week Momentum builds. Start optimizing.
Month 3 3 edits / week Full pace. Real results compound.
What counts

More Than You Think Qualifies

You don't have to rebuild your site every week. Any meaningful update counts.

Updating copy on any page
Adding or swapping an image or video
Publishing a new blog post or case study
Updating a service or product offering
Adding a testimonial or social proof element
Improving a call-to-action
Fixing a broken link or outdated info
Adding a new page or section
Changing or adding image alt-text
Updating H-tags (headlines and subheads)
Adding internal or external backlinks
Updating your contact info or business hours

The reward

Earn WAC All-Star Status

Hit every weekly minimum and you earn WAC All-Star status plus a cash prize. And even if you don't hit every requirement, finishing the round enters you into a separate random cash drawing. The bigger the membership, the bigger both prizes get.

FAQ

Common Questions

What platform does my website need to be on?
Any platform counts — Squarespace, Showit, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, custom-built. If you can edit it and screenshot it, it qualifies.
How do I submit proof of my edits?
We're building a custom WAC Platform where you'll be able to upload proof, track your submissions, view your streak, and access strategy and education resources — all in one place. Early access details will be shared with trial and Round 1 members in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
What happens if I miss a week?
You stay in the challenge and can keep posting, but you lose WAC All-Star status and the All-Star cash prize for that round. You're still eligible for the random finisher drawing as long as you complete the round. Every week counts.
How does the cash giveaway work?
There are two prizes per round. The All-Star prize goes to members who hit every weekly minimum — zero misses. The finisher prize is a random drawing open to anyone who completes the round, regardless of whether they hit all requirements. Both prizes grow as membership grows. Full details will be shared at the start of each paid round.
Is WAC related to SMAC?
Yes — WAC is the sister challenge to SMAC (Social Media Accountability Challenge), created by the same person with the same structure. SMAC focuses on social media consistency; WAC focuses on website updates. You can join one or both.
When does Round 1 start and end?
The 30-day free trial runs throughout April 2026. Round 1 (the first paid round) runs May through July 2026. Enrollment details for each will be announced closer to the start date.
